Sellet Hall Barn, Stainton, near Kendal

Horse stabling and grazing are available by arrangement for families looking to see the surrounding countryside by the saddle.

Situated in the pretty village of Dewlish, surrounded by the rolling Dorset hills, this highly individual and beautifully converted 18th-century farm building occupies a quiet corner of a courtyard on the edge of a 500 acre dairy and arable farm. Manor Farm Barn is detached and arranged over three floors, offering eight en-suite bedrooms, perfect for a family break. Children will enjoy watching the farm activities, with ducks and hens on site, and stabling is available for guests’ own horses (by arrangement at extra cost). There are also bridle paths extending from the farm and many pretty walks to enjoy locally, with several inns nearby and a village pub just 150 yards away.
