Cottage of the week – Hellington Hall
“If it’s good enough for Prince William…” isn’t a bad saying to live your life by. The only problem is that few of us will ever get to put it to the test, as, unfortunately, opportunities to share in the activities of the future Mr Middleton are few and far between. But that’s not to say that they’re impossible. For example, according to the papers this week, William relaxed at a country house in Norfolk before his upcoming nuptials, which, as luck would have it, is exactly what you can do at Hellington Hall, our new cottage of the week.
It may not be a friend’s private country estate, but in all other areas Hellington Hall more than fits the bill (and the owners are very friendly). For example, it is a historic country house set on a working farm deep within the Norfolk countryside and comfortably sleeps up to 14 holidaymakers. You will also find plenty of additions to the property that make relaxation a breeze, including an indoor heated swimming pool with spa end and tidal flow (shared with other properties at the location), spacious conservatory, open fires and four-poster beds. Younger holidaymakers will probably be more impressed by the opportunity to meet the animals and ponies, not to mention the onsite play area.
You will be equally spoilt for choice with activities in the surrounding area. Hellington Hall is ideally located for exploring the delights of southern Norfolk and Suffolk broads. The Ted Ellis nature reserve, Redwing’s Horse Sanctuary and Hales Hall Gardens are all local and well worth a visit. If you fancy taking to the water you can hire a boat only 3 miles away, and the Reedham Ferry is close by and perfect for leisurely day trips. If the kids are a little restless, there’s also a play barn within 4 miles.
So if you fancy a holiday fit for a (future) king you may want to book a stay at Hellington Hall today. Please visit the property’s listing on cottages4you where you can make a booking and find out more about this incredible property.
